How Does Betatan Work?

This tanning product increases the skin’s production of melanocytes, which is the brown pigment that darkens when we expose it to the sun.

Because the melanocytes are being stimulated, Betatan™ users will darken quicker and burn less. Most importantly, they’ll avoid lying in the sun for hours, which can cause a massive amount of skin damage and ageing.

For Betatan to work best, you need to use the product in conjunction with UV exposure.

The Advantages Of Betatan:
Over the years, there have been many tanning products that have proven to be unsafe, if not downright dangerous. Some interfere with the natural systems in place in the body, while others expose you to enormous amounts of harmful UV rays. 
 
So, it is not surprising that there are some sceptical folks out there, and with good reason. But, Betatan™ has a number of unique features that set it far apart from these other products:

 Preperation:

  1. Make sure you clear your nostrils before using the nasal spray to maximize absorption.
  2. Remove the white cap on the nozzle.
  3. Prime the nozzle by holding the nasal spray bottle upright and pump 1-3 times until it forms a uniform mist.
  4. Hold the bottle upright while using. 
  5. Insert the nasal spray into your nostril, about 1cm.
  6. Pump the device completely down while you simultaneously inhale through your nose. This allows the mist to distribute uniformly among the nasal mucous membrane.
  7. Clean the spray nozzle after use and re-attach the nozzle cover.

Loading Dosage:

- Use 8 pumps everyday, four pumps (2 in each nostril) in the morning and four pumps in the evening.
- Continue using the product as instructed above until the bottle is finished, a bottle should last approximately 10 days.
- After 10 days of loading the product, 15 minutes of safe sun exposure is recommended for faster activation of the product.
  

Please Note: The above dosage instructions are guidelines and some users may require higher or lower dosages. To assess if the body is fully loaded look for any abnormal or disproportionate coloration around the chin and mouth, If any of these signs are noticed stop the loading dosage and begin the maintenance dosage.

Maintenance Dosage:

- To maintain your tan use 4 pumps, two pumps in the morning and two pumps in the evening. 

Your body will slowly adapt to the levels of product in your system and an even tan will prevail. The best and most even tan will occur between 3 - 4 weeks.

Try and spend safe periods of time in the sun to stimulate the melanin in your skin. You can also use light sun bed sessions.

Storage Instructions:

Store inside a fridge.

How Long Does It Last?


The first bottle is to be loaded within a 10 day period there after the tan will start to build up day by day , which will last about 3 months.

Does It Make Spots & Pigmentation Stand Out?


Yes initially your freckles etc. will darken but once your skin catches up it will look totally normal.

I Have Red Hair So Tanning Is a No No For Me... Will This Help??


Red heads benefit hugely from this product as they usually burn much easier from daily sunlight. This product will give you a tanned complexion without being in the sun for long periods and makes the sun less harmful to your skin.
